Consul General Oleksandr Danyleiko visited the town of Lamont, Alberta - the town where the first Ukrainian settlers Ivan Pylypow and Wasyl Eleniak arrived 130 years ago.

During the visit Consul General Danyleiko met with the Mayor and the Councillors of the Municipal Council of Lamont, reached an agreement on close cooperation in the context of regional relations between Ukraine and Canada, establishing partnership between the Municipality of Lamont and Perehinsk UTC in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
