The Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton honored the memory of the millions who died as a result of the Stalinist Holodomor-genocide in Ukraine and lit a Candle of Remembrance near the world's first monument to the victims of the Holodomor.
After laying a wreath at the monument, Consul General of Ukraine in Edmonton Oleksandr Danyleiko took part in the Funeral Service for the Innocent Victims of the Holodomor in Ukraine, which was conducted by Bishop of the Edmonton Diocese Davyoshchen in the St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Edmonton.
