Consul General Oleksandr Danyleiko took part in the first joint event of the Turkish and Ukrainian communities of Edmonton to mark the International Children's Day, which is being celebrated in Turkey these days. The main focus of this year's event was support of Ukraine in its struggle against russian armed aggression. Fundraising was organized to help Ukrainian children affected by the war.

During a meeting with the Consul General of Turkey in Edmonton informed about the current situation in Ukraine, thanked for the support and assistance provided by the Turkish authorities and the Turkish Canadian community to Ukraine and Ukrainians.
