Fulfilling the tasks facing the economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, within the framework of the Council of Exporters and Investors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Consulate General of Ukraine in Edmonton together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and the Alberta-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce held an online business conference "Prospects for cooperation: Ukraine-Alberta ".
The main speakers at the forum were the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Senik, Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada Andriy Shevchenko, Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Larysa Galadza, Consul General of Ukraine in Edmonton Oleksandr Danyleiko, Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko, Executive Director of UkraineInvest Sergiy Tsivkach, Member of Alberta Legislative Assembly Jackie Arsmtrong-Gomenyuk, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Gennadiy Chyzhykov, Head of the Office of the National Investment Council Olga Magaletska, President of Alberta-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce Vitaliy Milentiev, as well as representatives of government and business circles of Ukraine and Canada. In total, more than 90 participants took part in the conference .
The conference demonstrated the significant potential and broad opportunities for cooperation in export and investment areas between our countries, the interest of business and political circles of Canada and Ukraine in the development of bilateral relations. This event allowed to present the export and investment potential of Ukraine for the Canadian business community, to demonstrate the readiness and willingness of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry to actively cooperate with business circles and provide maximum assistance to Ukrainian exporters in entering foreign markets, in particular through the tools and mechanisms and investors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The Embassy of Ukraine in Canada and the Consulate General in Edmonton will continue to work on providing the information about Ukraine's investment and export opportunities among Canadian business circles, improving Ukraine's positive image, and providing all necessary assistance and assistance to Ukrainian exporters in entering Western Canada.
